How does a solar lamp work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that gets full sun exposure, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to ten meters, perfect for very shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter-prone area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

My solar lamp isn’t working?

More often than not, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. It is common for the batteries to not charge or hold the charge properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you’ll immediately find out why your solar light isn’t working anymore. It’s unlikely that the solar module itself is at fault.

How to charge a solar lamp without the sun?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less intense and the lighting time will be shorter.
