How Do Solar Lights Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since solar lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

While it may not be as easy, you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to eight meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but may be less powerful.

My Solar Light Is Not Working?

Often, the issue with malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for batteries to not charge or hold the charge effectively. Our top advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and it will immediately become apparent why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar module itself is the cause of the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dark conditions or through glass. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter period of time.
