How do solar lights work?

New-generation photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then activate the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separated solar module by a cable that can range from two to nine meters, ideal for very dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar light is not working?

Generally, the most common cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries may not charge or may not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is rare for the solar panel to be the issue.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside of direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter period of time.
