How do solar lights work?

The next generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED lights at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives a lot of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for an outdoor area in the dark. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Usually, the cause of a malfunctioning light is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not retain power. Our top advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a normal battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar energy panel is the cause.
