How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as simple, but you can have solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can vary from three to eight meters, which is great for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Commonly, the reason for a malfunctioning lamp is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar cell with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is very rare.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the brightness will be weaker and last for a shorter period of time.
