How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb solar light during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that gets plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What If You Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?
