How does a solar lamp work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells captures sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the lamp at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you only have a very shaded courtyard?

Although it is not as convenient, you can still install rechargeable solar lamps in a shaded area, even in a winter region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can vary from two to nine meters, ideal for very shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lamps will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working?

Generally, the most common cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or retain the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the issue, although this is unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lamps away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter time
