How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells accumulate sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to eight meters, perfect for a heavily shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

My solar lamp is not working?

Usually, the cause of malfunction in your lights is the battery. It is common for batteries not to charge or hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is no longer working. It is possible that the solar module is the issue, but this is unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter period of time.
