How does solar lighting work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells collects sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then activate the bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a snowy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can vary from one to seven meters, ideal for dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working anymore?

Usually, the reason for a malfunction of your lights is the battery. Often, the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is highly unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules can still absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter time.
