How do solar lights work?

The next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by the energy of the sun, they should be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you don’t have direct sunlight?

It may not be as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a region with harsh winters. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable, ranging from two to six meters, making them ideal for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintery region, your solar lights will still work, although they will be less powerful.

My solar light isn’t working?

Often, the reason for a malfunctioning light is the battery. It is common for the batteries to not charge or retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you’ll immediately know why your solar light isn’t working anymore. It’s very rare for the solar panel itself to be the issue.

How to charge a solar light without direct sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. Therefore, you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful, and the lights will not last as long.
