How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if You Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?

While not as convenient, you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My Solar Lamp is Not Working Anymore?

Often, the cause of malfunction in your lamps is the battery. It is common for batteries not to charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar energy module may be the issue, but this is highly unlikely.

How to Charge a Solar Lamp without Sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period of time.
