How Do Solar Lights Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells harness solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which in turn power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by sunlight, they must be placed in an area that receives full sun, preferably eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Rainy Region?

It’s not as simple, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with separate panels connected by a wire, ranging from two to nine meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, although they will be less powerful.

Why Isn’t My Solar Light Working?

Often, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold their power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar module itself is the issue.

How to Recharge a Solar Light without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to capture solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. This means you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light will not last as long.
