How Does a Solar Light Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb solar light during the day, storing energy in the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since solar lights are powered by the sun, they should be positioned in an area that receives plenty of direct sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t Have Much Sunlight in Your Yard?

While not as straightforward, you can still install solar lights even in a cloudy or rainy region. We have solar lights with detachable solar panels connected by a wire that can vary in length from two to six meters, perfect for areas with limited sunlight. In rainy or winter areas, solar lights will still function, but they may be less powerful.

My Solar Light is Not Working?

Most often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for the batteries to not charge or hold energy properly. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar panel module itself to be the cause.

How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period of time.
