How Do Solar Lights Work?

Next-generation photovoltaic cells harness solar energy during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. As the lights are fueled by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights, even in a rainy region. We offer solar lights with a detached solar panel connected by a wire ranging from one to five meters, perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar wall lights will still operate, but they will be less powerful.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working?

Most often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It’s common for batteries not to charge or hold a charge. Our top advice is to replace the solar accumulator with a regular battery, and you’ll immediately see why your solar light isn’t working. It’s unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels can still absorb solar energy even on overcast days or through a window. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period.
