How Does a Solar Light Work?

New-generation photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since solar lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?

It may not be as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can be three to ten meters long, which is great for shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar lights will still work, although they will be less powerful.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working?

Usually, the most common reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the rechargeable batteries don’t charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately figure out why your solar light isn’t working. It is rare for the solar panel itself to be the issue.

How to Recharge a Solar Light without direct Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter duration.
