How Do Solar Lights Work?

During the day, the photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if You Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?

While not as easy, it is still possible to install solar lights even in regions with limited sunlight. We offer solar lights with detachable solar panels connected by a wire, ranging from two to seven meters in length. These lights are ideal for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar wall lights will still function, although with reduced brightness.

My Solar Light Is Not Working?

More often than not, the reason for malfunctioning solar lights is the rechargeable battery. Batteries sometimes fail to charge or hold power. The best solution is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery to determine the cause of the solar light malfunction. It is very rare for the solar panel module to be the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light will last for a shorter period of time.
