How Do Solar Lights Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb solar light during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a wire that can vary from one to eight meters, ideal for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My Solar Light is Not Working Anymore?

Generally, the most common cause of malfunction in solar lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel may be the cause, but this is very rare.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter period of time.
