How Does Solar Lighting Work?

The photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED lights at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if You Have a Shaded Courtyard?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights, even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from three to seven meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My Solar Light is not Working?

Commonly, the cause of malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the issue, but this is unlikely.

How to Recharge a Solar Light without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and last for a shorter period of time.
