How Do Solar Lights Work?

Photovoltaic cells accumulate solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED lights at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives ample sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Wintery Region?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a wintery region. We have solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a wire that can range from two to eight meters, perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still function, although they may be dimmer.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you’ll immediately know why your solar light isn’t working anymore. It’s unlikely that the solar module itself is the issue.

How to Recharge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to collect solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter duration.
