How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the built-in batteries, which then power the lamp at night. Since solar lamps are powered by sunlight, they should be placed in a location that receives ample sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

It may not be as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We offer solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable, which can vary from two to six meters. These lights are perfect for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

Why Isn’t My Solar Lamp Working?

Typically, the most common reason for malfunctioning solar lamps is a faulty battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold power properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar panel to be the issue.

How to Recharge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?

Solar panels can still absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through windows. So you can charge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and may not last as long.
