Which solar light to choose for your garden?
There are rechargeable solar lights for all tastes and occasions. You can design a matching garden lounge to suit your whims.
Solar LED Path Lights: If you want to highlight or enhance a pathway or passage in your garden, this is the type of light you need. They are easy to install with their lawn stakes or can be placed directly on a flat surface.
Solar Wall Sconces: If you have dark corners around your apartment or in your courtyard, placing wall sconces around your property will provide you with a sense of security and more visibility. They often come with a motion sensor for more optimal management. So do not hesitate to purchase our different types of wall lights.
Solar Lamp Posts: Generally easy to install, solar lamp posts are ideal for illuminating a relaxation area created in your garden or courtyard. There are models available in varying sizes, brightness levels, and styles according to your garden preferences.
Solar String Lights: While most households install decorative string lights during Christmas, you can also arrange your decorations to create an eccentric garden and welcome your guests all year round. At Lampe-Solar.com, we have various designs including bunting, vintage-style lighting, Moroccan-inspired lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar Animal Lights: If you are fond of unique animals, you are sure to find something you love among the different models offered by Lampe-Solar.com. You can transform your garden into a vibrant forest full of magnificent wild animals. Having animal decorations in your terrace can help deter pests.
Solar Outdoor Lanterns: Lanterns are very practical for illuminating your garden with their soft glow, and they can also serve as night lights. Use our wide selection of LED lanterns for a joy-filled garden.
How do solar lights work?
The latest generation of photovoltaic cells absorbs sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Because the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Don’t have direct sunlight?
It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.
Why isn’t my solar light working?
Most often, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or don’t hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is no longer working. It is unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.
For more details, see our maintenance guide.
How to charge a solar light without sunlight?
Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a windowpane. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and won’t last as long.
