How do solar lights work?
New-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the bulbs at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
What if you have a heavily shaded courtyard?
It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We have solar lights with a detachable solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to seven meters long, perfect for darker outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but may be weaker.
My solar light is not working?
Commonly, the reason for a malfunctioning light is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar panel itself is the cause of the issue.

How to charge a solar light without direct sunlight?
Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and last for a shorter duration.
